Successful pipe pulling at EWA – a significant milestone for the project.

On 24 April 2025, an important milestone was reached on the EWA project in Oldenburg: the installation of a DN1200 pipe with a length of 470 metres was successfully completed in record time. Work began at 7:00 a.m. and by 3:00 p.m. the pipe had been fully installed.
This success is the result of excellent cooperation within the consortium consisting of the FRIEDRICH VORWERK Group, Bohlen & Doyen Bau GmbH, PPS Pipeline Systems GmbH and the HABAU GROUP.

Seventeen riggers, two side trees and BoDo's 100-tonne drilling rig were deployed, which was able to pull the pipe safely into place with an impressive pulling force of 98 tonnes. The highest safety standards were maintained throughout the entire construction phase, and great importance was also attached to the physical well-being of everyone involved.

Our client OGE was very satisfied with the progress and results of the work. The entire team is proud of this joint success, and the next construction phase is already in the starting blocks.
